How the Heyfield Cricket Club website and the Heyfield CC app look after your information.

The short version

No accounts and no sign up. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
No advertising and no tracking.
If you turn on result notifications, we keep what's needed to send them, and nothing else.

The website and the app

The Heyfield CC app on Google Play shows this same website, so everything on this page applies to both.

Result notifications

Notifications are off until you turn them on. When you do, we store:

a notification address for your phone, made by your browser so we can send results to it. It doesn't contain your name, number or location.
the teams you chose to follow
the date you turned notifications on

This is kept with Cloudflare, the company that hosts the site, and is only used to send you results. It's deleted when you turn notifications off, or automatically once it stops working (for example, if you uninstall the app or clear your browser's data).

Saved on your phone

The teams you follow and a note that you've seen the welcome message are saved on your own phone so the site remembers them. They aren't sent anywhere else.

Services the site uses

PlayHQ provides fixtures, results, scorecards and ladders. Team logos load from PlayHQ.
Open-Meteo provides match day weather for the ground. Your own location is never used.
Google Maps shows the map of Gordon Street Recreation Reserve. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
Google Fonts provides the lettering on the site.

Links to Facebook, Instagram and PlayHQ registration take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Location

The site and app never ask for your location.

Kids

We don't collect personal information from anyone, including junior players.
